Occupational Health & Environmental Officer
This position will provide full time Healthand Environmental support to the operations, maintenance, administrations and Sub-contractors will ensure that all practices are in compliance with government regulatory requirements and company standard.
The position will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the Healthand Environmental procedure. Support the development and coordination of Health & Environmental awareness programs in support of our company business at Tabang Site.
Key & Responsibilities:
Establish Environmental Management System (EMS) to comply with applicable government regulation, client requirement and company standard.
Undergo Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and the implementation method.
Establish UKL & UPL document for project premises (and AMDAL only when required)
Undergo sampling, monitoring and organizing for food/water consumptions on site.
To liaise with all concerns to undergo hazardous and general waste management.
Organize vegetation or plantation for green campaign within projects premises.
Provide daily guidance and direction in the environmental programs from top management to down level worker, to ensure a common and effective approach.
Practice safe working techniques and re-enforce the environmental policy, plan, guideline, and procedure set out by the Company.
Describe the potential impacts and controls for each environmental hazards.
Provide information on environmental project requirements as required in the system.
Undergo environment inspection and audit at workplace, within project premises.
Define corrective action taken for environmental improvement within time frame.
EnsureSub-contractor in compliance with the environment policies and requirements.
Establish, maintain and apply the environmental related procedures within projects.
Investigate, reportingand take corrective action any environmental incident related.
Liaise with management, client and Sub-contractors concerning environmental issue.
Manage Environmental toolbox topic, and reporting system as defined at project.
• Min Diploma or Environmental degree from UNMUL University (is an advantage).
• Environmental Certificate is a must.
• EMS ISO 14001 – IRCA certificate (is an advantage).
• Min 2 years experiencewith coal / gold mine, fresh graduate (will be considered).
• Gender both male and female (will be prioritized).
• Good in operating computer skills (Excel, Word, power point) are essential.
• Excellent team player, relationships both internal and external.
• Good English both written and verbal (is an advantage).
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
